Ikorodu West LCDA lift indigent students with GCE forms.

The Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) ,Sulaimon Kazeem has distributed 200 free General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to indigent students.

Kazeem said the gesture was aimed at breaking financial barriers that often hinder brilliant students from furthering their education .

“Think about the ripple effect ;the young girl who receives her form today could become the doctor who runs our health center tomorrow, and that young boy might become the engineer who builds our infrastructure.”

He mentioned that the initiative represents a larger vision of his administrative goal which were education, engagement and empowerment.

“This is about building an Ikorodu West that is educated, enlightened, and empowered,” kazeem said.

The council boss urged the beneficiaries to cultivate the habit of reading, describing it as the cornerstone of knowledge and academic success.

“Knowledge is earned page by page, chapter by chapter,” he said.The beneficiaries expressed gratitude, saying the intervention has renewed their determination to succeed.
